2018 Ford Fiesta price, release date, interior, redesign, specs – For decades, the Ford Fiesta has been one of the most popular cars in Europe. It never gained quite the same amount of traction in the US with drivers there favoring other hatchbacks, but in recent years it certainly has had a bit of a boost in popularity on ‘home soil’. This boost in popularity is only set to increase with the next generation of Fiesta. At the tail end of 2017, the new Ford Fiesta 2018 is going to be released.
2018 Ford Fiesta redesign
The 2018 Ford Fiesta is available in two different styles. You have a four-door and a two-door model. At the moment, it is unknown whether both versions will hit US shores. However, rumors currently point towards the fact that it is likely only the four-door model will be released in the states. There will be available three trims: S, SE and Titanium.
The exterior of the new Ford Fiesta 2018 has been given only the slightest of upgrades. It is ever so slightly larger. Only by a couple of inches. One of the main reasons for this is the fact that Ford wanted to go down the route of a slightly ‘sportier’ design, without taking away from the classic Ford Fiesta look. The vehicle is slightly less ‘curvy’ than previous models in the range with sharper lines at the front and rear, although you certainly will be able to tell that this is a Fiesta. One highlight about the exterior is the fact that Ford claim that it ‘deadens’ sound. This means the interior of the vehicle is quieter, even if it is very windy outside and you are traveling at speed.
The real action can be found in the interior of the 2018 Ford Fiesta. As drivers of Fiesta’s will know, this car is not really at the forefront of technology. It is a car which has been designed for those who want quality, but on a budget. However, the latest model changes this up a bit. Obviously, the model is expected to be at the same price point. It can’t really go much higher than the price of the current Ford Fiesta model otherwise the company will not be able to compete. However, the interior seems a whole lot more modern. If you wish, you can have an 8.0 touchscreen installed in the vehicle which will give you control over a variety of different functions. If you don’t want this, then the dashboard is a bit more streamlined, which is a stake contrast to previous models of the car which seem to be a bit of a maze to traverse.
The amount of leg room in the backseat of the 2018 Fiesta has been boosted a tad. This results in a far more enjoyable ride for passengers. Don’t worry, the front seats are not going to miss out here. The vehicle has been given a nice set of plush seats which should be a joy to relax in.
